A large copper serving dish or plate stamped GvR to the rear.

Originally tinned the tinning has worn in places to expose the copper beneath and give a beautiful patination. Circa 1910 -1920.

Sourced in Orkney, home to the British fleet at Scapa Flow in WW1.
